Membership renewal fees for CVT membership $35 and are due by December 31st. An additional late fee of $20 will be added to all renewals submitted after January 31st. The 2019 renewal requirements will be as follows: Veterinary Technicians are required to complete a total of twelve (12) continuing education units (CEU) per calendar year in order to maintain Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) status through the Connecticut Veterinary Technician Association (CTVTA). A minimum of six CE credits must be from a physical venue (conference/seminar/symposium, in-house CE, selected electronic courses). Six credits can be from online venues. Up to one-quarter of the annual CEU requirement (3.0 CEUs) may be earned as an instructor. Continuing Education is defined as education provided for adults outside of the formal education system, consisting of seminars, courses, lectures, or labs that bring participants up to date in a particular area of knowledge or set of skills. |
