ABOUT TARA MCNAMA, LVT:
Tara received her bachelor's degree in Finance from Fordham University in 1998. After working in finance for a couple of years, she realized her passion for helping animals was greater than her business career interest so, she returned to school to further her education in veterinary medicine. While working at a general practice gaining technical skills, she graduated from Mercy College with a bachelor's degree in veterinary technology. She has been working in veterinary medicine since 2000 and became a licensed veterinary technician in 2005. She has been working, specifically, in oncology for the past 8 years. She currently works at Cornell University Veterinary Specialists as the lead technician in the oncology department.  Outside of work, she is a wife and mother of two boys, two cats (Birdie and George Monkey) and a dog (Charlotte).
